Species Hedbergella monmouthensis Olsson 1960

Discussion / Comments:
Huber (1990):
This species has frequently been confused with similar juvenile forms of other species. It is distinguished by its small size (less than 200 /xm diameter), chambers that increase moderately in size, and symmetrically globular final chamber face. The ontogenetic morphology of the Maud Rise forms were compared with topotypes (Pl. 6, Fig. 2) of this species and found to be identical.
