Species Acarinina nitida Martin 1943

Discussion / Comments:
Toumarkine & Luterbacher (1985):
The compact test is almost subglobular in lateral view and has an equatorial periphery which is only very slightly lobate. The last whorl has 4 to 5 chambers, which enclose the narrow umbilicus. The surface of the test is very spinose, especially on the umbilical side.
Van Eijden & Smit (1991):
Remarks. See A. coalingensis (Cushman and Hanna, 1927).
