Species Globigerina dubia Egger 1857

Discussion / Comments:
Rögl (1985):
This small 5-chambered Early Miocene species measuring 0.25-0.3 mm is characterized by its high trochospire. The comparatively large final chamber partly overlaps the umbilical cavity. The Oligocene G. ciperoensis fariasi is of about the same size and shape but has a more open umbilicus. G. dubia differs from G. ciperoensis ciperoensis and G. ciperoensis ottnangiensis in the high troehospire with the last chamber partly covering the umbilicus.
