Rögl (1985):
Description and illustrations by Roemer are not satisfactory. In figuring a comparative specimen (Fig. 4.10) Drooger (1956) attempted to clarify the concept of this species. According to the original description it is a stout, 3-4-chambered form with globular, somewhat embracing chambers. This comparatively large species originally described from the Late Oligocene resembles G. euapertura, but is not so distinctly 4-chambered. |
