Species Potentella (Clavotorella) bermudezi Bolli 1957

Alternative name:
Discussion / Comments:
Srinivasan (1975):
The SEM examination of the surface ultramicrostructure of the type species of Protentella and that of Clavatorella suggests a close generic relationship (Srinivasan and Kennett, MS.). Further, the type species of Protentella and Clavatorella are similar, the only difference between the two taxa being the degree of trochospiral coiling in later Stages. Clavatorella is, however, considered to be a subgenus of Protentella.
