Griffin & Nielsen (2008):
TYPE MATERIAL. Holotype: NHM- G26344. REMARKS. Pleurotoma subaequalis comes from the Pliocene of Isla Guafo (Sowerby 1846) as has been confirmed by Frassinetti (2000).
