Species Globigerinoides altiaperturus Bolli 1957

Discussion / Comments:
Bolli & Saunders (1985):
The chamber arrangement and test shape of G. altiaperturus closely resembles that of G. trilobus trilobus, to which it appears to be related. It differs from it in having distinctly larger, higher arched semicircular apertures, which in G. trilobus are low arched, more slit like. Its first appearance approximately coincides with that of the G. trilobus complex.
