DISTINGUISHING FEATURES.- Distinguished by its elliptical to moderately tapering test, weakly depressed sutures, and circular aperture produced on a short neck (see Olsson and others, 1999 for additional information). STRATIGRAPHIC RANGE.- Upper Paleocene Zone P4 to lower Eocene Zone E2 according to Huber and Boersma (l 994).
