Species Ascoliella quadrata Michael 1973

Discussion / Comments:
Boudagher-Fadel et al. (1997):
Remarks: This species has five chambers in the last whorl ventrally, increasing gradually in size; the umbilicus is wide and shallow; the aperture is intra-extraumbilical; the surface has a fine favose reticulation. F. quadrata differs from F. izitida (Michael) in having a much wider umbilicus, more globular chambers and a much finer favose pattern.
