Boudagher-Fadel et al. (1997):
Remarks: Another species previously mistaken for Globigerina hoterivica Subbotina, 1953. G. depressa has an axioumbilical aperture and four chambers in each whorl; it differs from G. kugleri in having more depressed chambers (h/L = 0.67 approx.), a broader intercameral sutural angle, a very low, symmetrical aperture, and a high spire (d/t = 0.26 approx .).
