Discussion / Comments: |
Boudagher-Fadel et al. (1997):
Remarks: This species was described from
samples collected from the Aptian (Gargasian), La
Pefia Formation of Neuvo Laredo State, Mexico.
The original drawings were not good (refigured
here on Plate 10.3, Figs 1-3) but showed a microperforate,
smooth species with five chambers in
the last whorl; the chambers of the later part of
the last whorl were much higher than long or
broad, and the latest intercameral sutures were
deeply incised. The radial elongation of these
chambers indicate that the species must be referred
to Claviblowiella. We know of no subsequent
records of this species. |
