Caron (1985):
The species differs from the slightly larger H. delrioensis in
having only 4 instead of 5-6 globular chambers forming the
last whorl.
Pflaumann & Krasheninnikov (1977):
The last whorl is composed of four to four and one-half chambers
with lobate periphery and narrow .umbilicus.
Differs from other hedbergellas by its low number of chambers in
the last whorl, from C. hoterivica by its low main aperture, and from
Gubkinella by its low spira.
On Plate 1, Figure 3, 4 are shown four-chambered forms of larger
sizes, determined as H. aff. sigali with respect of their poor
preservation. |
