Caron (1985):
T. primula differs from T. bejaouensis in its pseudo-planispiral aspect and in having fewer chambers.
Pflaumann & Krasheninnikov (1977):
Test low trochospiral, last whorl formed by six to eight chambers
laterally slightly appressed, umbilicus rather wide and shallow.
Secondary apertures especially on the last chambers are distinctly
sutural elongated slits.
There have been encountered specimens with distinctly elongated
last chambers, which resemble the figures given by Caron (1971,
p. 151, fig. 12a-c). |
