Discussion. -
Fragments of a second Anagaudryceras species
of large size have massive whorls. Ornament consists of flexuous
wiry prorsiradiate lirae and numerous periodic ribs, some of
which may be collars of constrictions. They appear quite distinct
from other material described here.
Occurrence.-
In the Biscay sections this taxon has been recovered
from Members IV and V (upper Maastrichtian). |
