Discussion / Comments:
Banner & Desai (1988):
This species is characterised by the strong umbilically-directed convexity of its chambers, creating a very small and deep umbilicus which the later chambers almost overhang. Initially, in spiral view, the chambers are longer than high, rcniform, and five in each whorl but in some specimens later chambers may shorten, become as high as long, with six in the last whorl.

Remarks: This species is characterized by its lobate test, later chambers not depressed (h/L = 1.2 approx.) and strongly overlapping the umbilicus.
