Subspecies Dentoglobigerina altispira globosa Bolli 1957



Diagnosis / Definition:
Kennett & Srinivasan (1983):
Test large, equatorial periphery distinctly lobulate, chambers spherical to slightly compressed laterally, five to six in the final whorl, increasing slowly in size as added; sutures on both spiral and umbilical sides radial and depressed; surface distinctly cancellate; umbilicus wide, deep; aperture interiomarginal, umbilical, covered by tooth- like projections
Discussion / Comments:
Kennett & Srinivasan (1983):
This species differs from D. altispira altispira in lacking a distinctly high trochospire and appressed axially prolonged chambers.
