Diagnosis / Definition: |
Kennett & Srinivasan (1983):
Test very low trochospiral, spiral side flat, umbilical side strongly convex, equatorial periphery almost circular, axial periphery planoconvex with a pronounced keel; six to seven chambers in the final whorl; spiral sutures curved, limbate, merging into keel, on umbilical side sinuous to radial, depressed;
surface smooth, densely perforate; umbilicus small, fairly deep; aperture interiomarginal, extraumbilical-umbilical, a fairly low-arched slit with a thin lip. |
