Species Eoglobigerina edita Subbotina 1953

Diagnosis / Definition:
Berggren & Norris (1997):
Relatively small (.25mm in diameter), subcircular test with distinct lobulate peripheral margin and 4 1/2-5 (less frequently up to 7) chambers in the last whorl; umbilical side low convex, relatively large chambers in final whorl; umbilical side low convex, relatively large chambers of initial two (of three) whorls on spiral side markedly elevated ; intercameral sutures depressed between the inflated, globular chambers, radially disposed and slightly curved; umbilicus small shallow; aperture a low, asymetrically disposed umbilical- extraumbilical arch; wall texture distinctly cancellate, spinose.
