Species Planorotalites chapmani Parr 1938

Discussion / Comments:
Toumarkine & Luterbacher (1985):
The very low biconvex test is almost equilateral with the umbilical side only slightly more convex than the flat spiral side. The periphery is subacute in axial view. P. chapmani is intermediate between P. compressa and P. pseudomenardii with its imperforate keel.
