Toumarkine & Luterbacher (1985):
The small biconvex test are tightly coiled with 5 to 6 crescentic chambers in the last whorl increasing gradually in size. On the spiral side, the sutures are strongly curved backwards. The umbilicus is narrow. The surface of the test in well preserved specimens is coarsely perforate and pitted, but it may be smooth in abraded specimens. |
