Discussion / Comments:
Toumarkine & Luterbacher (1985):
The last whorl has 6 to 7(rarely 8) chambers which increase regularily and relatively slowly in size. The periphery has a spinose 'keel' throughout. The umbilicus is open and deep, surrounded by smooth umbilical shoulders. The sutures on the spiral side arte raised, generally beaded and pass smoothly without any break into the peripheral 'keel'
