Toumarkine & Luterbacher (1985):
The spiral side of the compact test is flattened, the umbilical side inflated. The 4 to 5 chambers of the final whorl increase gradually in size and are somewhat imbricated on the spiral side. The entire surface of the test is covered with spines which are somewhat more prominent on the umbilical side. |
