Species Hastigerina bolivariana Petters 1954

Discussion / Comments:
Toumarkine & Luterbacher (1985):
Petters, who described the species from Colombia, noticed that the test is globular, completely involute on the ventral side, nearly so on the dorsal side, and that the aperture is a narrow slit extending more on the ventral side than on the dorsal side. It can be a very large species (0.45-1 mm).
