Toumarkine & Luterbacher (1985):
G. lozanoi is characterized by a relatively large number of chambers in the last whorl (4 to 6), which increase slowly in size, a high trochospire and a loosely, somewhat irregular coiling pattern. The large number of chambers in the last whorl is similar to Acarinina pentacamerata, but A. pentacamerata has a spinose test instead of a smooth one as in G. lozanoi. |
