Species Morozovella conicotruncata Subbotina 1953

Discussion / Comments:
Toumarkine & Luterbacher (1985):
The test is conicotruncate in lateral view with 5 to 8 tightly joined angular-conical chambers which increase only slowly in size. The spines on the surface of the test tend to be more concentrated on the periphery, but do not fuse to form a heavy 'keel' as in Morozovella velascoensis.
Van Eijden & Smit (1991):
Remarks. It is connected to M. velascoensis (Cushman, 1925d) by intermediate forms with weak ornamentation.
