Subspecies Globorotalia humerosa praehumerosa Natori 1976

Alternative name:
Discussion / Comments:
Bolli & Saunders (1985):
This subspecies was proposed as intermediate between G. acostaensis and G. humerosa. Comparing holotypes, the 5-chambered praehumerosa differs from acostaensis merely in its slightly larger size and from humerosa in possessing One chamber less in the last whorl. For biostratigraphic purposes Natori's praehumerosa is here included in humerosa.
