Subspecies Neogloboquadrina dutertrei blowi Rögl & Bolli 1973

Discussion / Comments:
Bolli & Saunders (1985):
The subspecies blowi falls within the variability of N. dutertrei. Typical specimens are often fairly large with 5 6 chambers forming the last whorl and possessing a fairly wide umbilical area. The aperture of the last chamber has the tendency to become umbilical extraumbilical in position but the apertural flaps typical in many dutertrei specimens are absent. Coiling usually low trochospiral. Widespread in tropical and temperate waters.
