Subspecies Globoquadrina altispira altispira Cushman & Jarvis 1936

Discussion / Comments:
Bolli (1957):
Globoquadrina altispira altispira varies considerably, ranging from small to large specimens and from low to high trochospiral forms. The form described by Cushman and Jarvis is here given subspecies rank. It is distinguished from G. altispira globosa, new subspecies, by having somewhat elongate and laterally compressed chambers.
