Discussion / Comments:
Caron (1985):
The species differs from Giobotruncanita stuartiformis in its plano-convex profile and crescent-shaped instead of triangular chambers. G. subspinosa has a more irregular outline and crescent-shaped chambers, which tend to extend backwards.
