Discussion / Comments:

Caron (1985):
Like M. renzi, M. schneegansi and M. sinuosa, M. sigali has a biconvex test but differs from these in its roughly pustulose keels merging into a single one in the last whorl. As is the case in all Marginotruncana species, the double keel on the early whorls remains visible in thin section.
