Species Rotalipora montsalvensis Mornod 1949

Discussion / Comments:
Caron (1985):
The species is characterized by the inflated chambers. On the umbilcal side their surfaces dip gradually towards the umbilicus and are without ornamentation. The intercameral sutures are depressed and not beaded on each side. R. montsalvensis differs from R. cushmani in the more inflated chambers, the absence of beaded sutures and a concentration of pustules on the central part of each chamber.
