Species Rotalipora reicheli Mornod 1949

Discussion / Comments:
Caron (1985):
This species is readily recognizable by its distinct plano-convex test shape. The spiral side is plane to slightly concave, the umbilical one high with the last chambers often slightly inflated. The chambers of the last whorl display a peripheral ridge surrounding the umbilical area. R. reicheli differs from R. gandolfi in the more definitely plano-convex shape and more inflated chambers on the umbilical side.
