Discussion / Comments:
Bolli (1957):
Globorotalia renzi Bolli, new species, is distinguished from G. lehneri Cushman and Jarvis by its small size and spineless periphery. It usually has 6 chambers in the last whorl compared with 4-5 in small specimens of G. lehneri. The species is named for Dr. H. H. Renz of the Mene Grande Oil Company, in recognition of his contributions to micropaleontology in the Caribbean region.
