Toumarkine & Luterbacher (1985):
A small and tightly coiled trochospire with 4 chambers in the last whorl increasing rapidly in size.
Van Eijden & Smit (1991):
Remarks. Forms intermediate between this species and G. triloculinoides Plummer, 1926 occur in the lowermost Paleocene of Site 752.
