Species Globigerina angustiumbilicata Bolli 1957

Alternative name:
Globigerina (Globigerina) angustiumbilicata Bolli 1957
Discussion / Comments:
Van Eijden & Smit (1991):
Remarks. G. angustiumbilicata is common to abundant in most middle and upper Oligocene 125-250- and <125-ìm fractions. Many specimens show four abruptly enlarging chambers in the final whorl and a somewhat extraumbilical aperture. These are lower trochospiral than G. officinalis Subbotina, 1953 and bullaless Globigerinita glutinata (Egger, 1893).
