Species Lilliputianelloides eocretaceus Neagu 1975

Discussion / Comments:
Boudagher-Fadel et al. (1997):
Remarks: L. eocretaceus has four chambers abutting the umbilicus in the last whorl. Its last chambers are broadly elongate. The umbilicus is very narrow and the aperture extends from the umbilicus to the periphery of the penultimate whorl and is furnished with a narrow lip. The sutural intercameral angles are very broad before the chambers become elongate; with the elongation these angles become more narrow. The type species (holotype and all of its paratypes) distinctly shows an initial test of Praehedbergella form. The test is smooth and microperforate (Plate 9.1, Figs 3, 4) so it is not a Clavihedbergella as Neagu (1975) supposed. Only the last one or two chambers show radial elongation. So far, the genus is monotypic, therefore the characters of the genus are those of the type species.
