Species Hedbergella maslakovae Longoria 1974

Discussion / Comments:
Caron (1985):
Size, number and arrangement of chambers are similar to H. bizonae, from which it differs in the more rounded and less radially elongated chambers. Relict apertures may be preserved on the spiral side.
Pflaumann & Krasheninnikov (1977):
Mostly six, more rarely six and one-half chambers in the last whorl are radially subelongate. Spiral side concave, periphery strongly lobate, umbilicus wide. Range after Longoria: within late Aptian.
