Species Racemiguembelina fructicosa Egger 1899

Discussion / Comments:

Caron (1985):
This readily recognizable species has a biserial early stage, which later becomes multiserial by development of supplementary, inflated and coarsely costate chambers. The test form is conical. Each terminal chamber possesses a basal arched aperture opening into the central cavity. Apertures are protected by ponticuli, successive ponticuli being arranged in a planar mode.
