Subspecies Clavigerinella eocanica jarvisi Cushman 1930

Discussion / Comments:
Toumarkine & Luterbacher (1985):
According to Cushman (1930, p. 19) the chambers of Clavigerinella eocanica jarvisi are more slender than those of C. eocanica eocanica and their outer ends are often pointed. The two subspecies have the same stratigraphic range. Hastigerinella eocanica var. aragonensis Nuttall (Fig. 22.6), published in September 1930, is here considered as a junior synonym though Nuttall distinguished it from H. jarvisi by the more rounded distal ends of the chambers. H. eocanica var. aragonensis is possibly an intermediate form between C. eocanica eocanica and C. eocanica jarvisi.
