Subspecies Globigerinatheka mexicana barri Brönnimann 1952

Discussion / Comments:
Toumarkine & Luterbacher (1985):
G. mexicana barri is the bullate form of the G. mexicana plexus. It diners from G. mexicana kugleri in having bullae but also a smaller, tightly coiled initial spire. G. mexicana barri is generally small and delicate. The subspecies is common in the mid and late part of the Middle Eocene in tropical and temperate regions.
