Species Monoceros blainvillei d'Orbigny 1842

Griffin & Nielsen (2008):
TYPE MATERIAL. Two syntypes are present in the Typothèque of the Laboratoire de Paléontologie under number MNHN-R63175. REMARKS. The genus Chorus Gray, 1847 [type species Monoceros giganteus Lesson, 1830], including this species, has been revised by DeVries (1997a). DeVries (1997a) gave a late Pliocene to probably earliest Pleistocene age for this species.
