Discussion / Comments: | ||||||
Kennett & Srinivasan (1983): Distinguished from St. tokelauae, a Pliocene-Quaternary form, by its globose chambers and distinctly rugose test surface. St. tokelauae probably evolved from St. globigerum during the Early Pliocene. St. latum Bronnimann and Resig and St. pristinum Bronnimann and Resig are closely related. |
