Discussion / Comments: | ||||||
Kennett & Srinivasan (1983): Gg. (Zg.) brazieri is distinguished from Gg. (Zg.) woodi by its subquadrate test and by the apertural placement directly opposite the suture line. Similarities in surface ultrastructure and presence of morphologically transitional forms indicate that Gg. (Zg.) brazieri was derived from Gg. (Zg.) woodi. |
