Alternative name:
Globigerina angulisuturalis Bolli 1957

Kennett & Srinivasan (1983):
Test low trochospiral with five slowly increasing chambers in the final whorl. Sutures on spiral side depressed, radial; on umbilical side with deep, angular, U-shaped sutures between the chambers. Aperture lowarched interiomarginal, umbilical.
Discussion / Comments:
Kennett & Srinivasan (1983):
Gg. (Gg.) angulisuturalis differs from Gg. (Gg.) ciperoensis and Gg. (Gg.) angustiumbilicata in possessing deep angular, U-shaped sutures and much smaller umbilicus. It seems to have descended from Gg. (Gg.) ciperoensis.
