Toumarkine & Luterbacher (1985):
Turborotalia cerroazulensis pomeroli differs from its ancestor T. cerroazulensis possagnoensis by the larger number of chambers in the last whorl (4 to 6 instead of 3 1/2), and by its larger size (maximum diameter 0.5 to 0.55 mm instead of 0.45 mm) and more rounded periphery.
