Species Schackoina cabri Sigal 1952

Discussion / Comments:
Caron (1985):
S. cabri has bulbous protuberances in the last 1 to 3 chambers; these are paired or, very occasionally, in threes. In S. cenomana the protuberances are single tubulospines. S. cabri has 4-5 chambers in the last whorl, whereas S. multispinata has only 3, each of which has several tubulospines.
Boudagher-Fadel et al. (1997):
Remarks: This species is evolute and is characterized by having four to five chambers in the last whorl, which develop tubulospines. S. cabri is characterized by its broad, evolute umbilici. It may become bispinate in its last chambers, but it may remain unispinate (one spine on each chamber) throughout.
