Species Globorotalia multicamerata Cushman & Jarvis 1930

Alternative name:
Globorotalia (Menardella) multicamerata Cushman & Jarvis 1930
Discussion / Comments:
Bolli & Saunders (1985):
The species differs from its assumed ancestral form G. menardii 'B' in possessing more chambers in the last whorl, 8 10, and in a more robust test, including a thicker peripheral keel. Intermediate forms, difficult to assign to one or other of the two taxa, are frequent.
