Discussion / Comments:

Caron (1985):
T. roberti differs from T. primula in a higher trochospire and a roughend surface on the chambers; from hedbergella trochoidea in the presence of umbilical supplementary apertures and from T. bejaouensis in a generally larger test and a higher trochospire.
Pflaumann & Krasheninnikov (1977):
Remarks: We have encountered distinctly trochospiral as well as subplanispiral specimens in our material.°The species ranges in Hole 369A samples from Section 44-1 to Sample 41, CC (Ticinella roberti to Rotalipora ticinensis Zone).
