Species Dicarinella algeriana Caron 1966

Caron (1985):
This species is the most primitive of the genus Dicarinella. It is transitional from Praegtobotruncana stephani to D. imbricata and differs from the former in the presence of a narrow imperforate peripheral band between the two lines of pustules and from the latter in the absence of a true double keel with its imbricated pattern.
