Caron (1985):
The holotype differs from H. subdigitata and H. watersi in having all but the last chamber of the last whorl strongly elongated, up to five times as long as wide,with pointed ends instead of clavate tips as istypical for the last chambers in H. subdigitata and H. watersi.
